This 2 bedroomed cottage, in the heart of the village of Ravenglass, is a great venue for a family break. 
There is plenty for all the family with the beach and dunes to wander along and discovering the remains of an Roman bath house and there is the Lar'l Ratty which is the narrow gauge steam railway running up into Eskdale (very much like Thomas the Tank Engine!). Then you can walk to Muncaster Castle with it's fantastic gardens and maze plus the Owl centre.
There are 2 lovely pubs and one fantastic restaurant in the village plus a great pub at the end of the railway in Eskdale. For the energetic among you it is possible to hire bikes from the station ride up Eskdale and take the train back (after some refreshment at the pub!)
