The location makes the farmhouse great for a weekend of fun. There is walking and moutain biking from the door (or the Whinlatter visitors centre where bikes can be hired). Also at the visitors centre is the Go-ape high ropes course for those looking for an adrenaline rush!
Keswick and Cockermouth are just 10 minutes drive from the cottage and the excellent pub of The Wheatcheif is just 2.5 miles away.
